SpongeBob is in the Trees

A few weeks ago, at the Trierer Weihnachtsmarkt (Christmast Market), they were selling these SpongeBob SquarePants balloons (Don't ask me what he's got to do with Christmas!) and one of them got caught in a tree just outside of the Theater.

I just loved the image of him floating there. It was getting dark when I took this photo, but when I came back the next day, he was gone.

Die Mosel - The Moselle River

Obviously this picture is a few months old - you don't see that much green around this time of year. It was taken standing on the Römerbrücke (Germany's oldest bridge) and I wanted to post it to do two things: 1) Test how and if image uploading works with Blogger (never done that before) and 2) remind me that it's not always this cold around here!
