This emergency telephone post (Notrufsäule) stands in the Palast-Garten, and you can call both the police and the fire department with it. It looks pretty old and I don't know if it's still working (there is a way to find out, I guess, but I wouldn't want to do that...) but nowadays everyone has a mobile phone, so I don't think you really need it anymore.
