Ever since singer/actor/cult figure and Trier local Guildo Horn revealed them to be his favourite kind of food (and even sang about them on the Eurovision Song Contest), Nussecken (literally: nut corners) have become some sort of speciality around here. Well, maybe not really, but when I asked what a typical speciality of Trier might be, the baker where I took this photo pointed me towards them.

And they're quite delicious, too. What's your town's speciality?
