Seems that after the thunderstorms of recent the river was carrying high water for a brief time. At least I heard that in the news, I didn't actually see it. But then again, this piece of wood had to get up there somehow!


  1. I had to look for the driftwood. I was looking at the water at first.

  2. I have seen similar pictures. I took a photograph of a large rock on a limb in a tree that the floor waters put there. I enjoyed your blog today.

    I have some good news:

    The three baby robins are on their way to Meet the World. I miss them already. It was quite an emotional experience.
