Old Crane

This crane (old German: Krahn) was built in 1774 and used for loading and unloading ships that would do trade via the Moselle river. The roof, along with the chains and hooks from yesterday, can be rotated from the inside.

  1. Ah so. Yes, the chain from yesterday I can see today in the crane photo. It was used once upon a time. I like your photograph of this old building.
