Photographs of Trier (Trèves), Germany's oldest city (2,000+ years).

Sorry for all the duck photos, but, what can I say, I just think they're beautiful animals and a beautiful part of Trier's scenery.

  1. Don't say sorry! The ducks are really cute! They're colorful but sadly we don't have duck which looks like that back in Malaysia.

    Beautiful photo! Love it :D

  2. Looks like they are on the starting blocks waiting for the race to begin!

Enjoy the winter sun in Sydney!

  3. Since part of my ancestry traces back to Trier (1800s), I thought I should get acquainted with your city. Viewing your photos, I feel a kindred spirit with the city already. Keep the photos coming and thanks for your efforts on this blog. Emily said, ducks are cute! Also, how's the jazz scene in Trier?

  4. Trier has quite a vibrant jazz scene, actually. There are a lot of great local bands!
